EV charger installation at home.
A tidy, certified home charger install - supply checked, charger fitted and configured, and everything tested so you wake up to a full battery every day.
What's involved
From survey to first charge.
A home charger install done properly starts before the electrician arrives - with a quick check that your supply can actually take it.
Survey first
We check your supply, fuse rating and consumer unit before quoting, so the price you get is the price you pay - including any upgrade work, stated upfront.
Fitted neat and tidy
Cable runs planned with you, drilled and sealed properly, charger mounted where it's actually convenient to park and plug in. We treat your home like our own.
Certified & configured
Installation notified, tested and certified. We set up the app, off-peak scheduling and solar integration where you have it - and show you how it all works before we leave.
EV charger FAQs
Good questions, straight answers.
If yours isn't here, call us - advice over the phone is always free.
Which chargers do you install?
We fit all the major UK brands - including tethered and untethered 7kW units - and we'll recommend the best fit for your car, parking and budget rather than pushing one brand.
Can I get a government grant?
The EV chargepoint grant currently applies mainly to flat owners/renters and landlords, not most owner-occupied houses. We'll tell you what you qualify for when you enquire, and handle the paperwork if you do.
How long does installation take?
A straightforward install is usually done in half a day. If your consumer unit or earthing needs upgrading first, we'll tell you at the survey stage with a clear price.
Is my home suitable?
Most homes with off-street parking are. Key factors are your main fuse rating, the distance from your fuse box to the parking spot, and the condition of your earthing - all things we check in the free survey.
Do I need a special tariff?
No, but an off-peak EV tariff can cut charging costs dramatically. We'll configure your charger to charge on the cheap hours automatically.
